THE TICKING TIMEBOMB

Over 60% in polls are NOT right wing extremists. The 30% that keeps the Republican Party afloat has proven once again that an “unpopular vote elected President” ALWAYS RESULTS IN UNDEMOCRATIC AND RACIST FASCIST RESULTS.
Gore v Bush was another SCOTUS decision that gave an election to a candidate that did not win the majority vote. That’s right, Bush lost, only the electoral college outdated and fascist causing, got an unpopular President elected.
Bush’s largess led to giving Ben Ladin the opening he needed to kill on 9–11. Then Bush, again without the majority will of the people, led us into a disastrous war that weakened the USA in the world stage.
Next up was 2016, the most lopsided result in a Presidential Election in decades, where Hillary Clinton won by millions, but lost the electoral college vote.
And Trump delivered on his electoral college with no mandate of the people to appoint a majority of the SCOTUS that just killed thousands of women who must once again look for abortions in alleys.
Finally, there is 2020. Trump went nuts (didn’t take much) because he lost by over 3 million popular votes, the largest margin in decades, but claimed to have, as in 2016, the electoral college vote.
What Trump was trying was the same ploy R.B. Hayes used to win in 1876, bribing a few electors to change their vote and give him the win.
R.B. Hayes sold his soul to the devil so he could win.
He then brought out every outdated and illegal electoral college maneuver that has sat in the background for years. Not since Rutherford B. Hayes had the extinct electoral college been manipulated the presidential outcome as planned by Trump.
Luckily it didn’t work. It still lies there, waiting to end democracy….the electoral college remains the most lethal opponent to democracy there is…
Remember, Hayes got a minority of the popular vote. To get the majority of the electoral vote, he got a few electoral voters to change their vote, and elected once again a minority vote President. That is exactly what Trump was trying to do. It is an Achilles heel of our democracy, waiting every four years to ruin our democracy…
R.B. Hayes made a deal was with former Southern States to stop the military occupation of the still seething south AND end Reconstruction. That’s right ending Reconstruction and ushering in Jim Crowe that plagues us to today is a direct result of electing a President and then delegitimizing him.
African Americans and Native Americans were then fed to this undemocratic monster, killing millions, beating the Indian out of children, leaving an apartheid in Amerikkka that exists to today. Moreover, the rush to the right which Teddie Roosevelt stopped momentarily, is a very real phenomenon that is fed by the electoral college.
This was done ALWAYS against the popular will, through votes that indicated an opposite outcome of the election. Progressivism has been the most usual outcome…..and with global warming looming it will destroy us all.
If we elect Trump he has promised to end any and all progressive moves, that the vast majority of the American People (popular vote) want and need. In short he will rule against the majority will: which is dictatorship.
If we don’t act now about global warming, it will be end of us all..and our democracy will die
The difference in 2020 was that Trump’s end run around the will of the people was stopped by the electoral college of R.B. Hayes’ strategy not working. Laws were passed in 1877 on, to tighten up the loop hole that the electoral college was designed for. The SCOTUS can declare these laws unconstitutional, given their hard right stance, and end democracy forever.
In the over 100 years after R.B. Hayes we have had several Presidential Elections that were very close, and the electoral college stood in the way of the will of the People.
We need to get rid of the Electoral College. It was put into the Constitution to do exactly what it has done over and over again, divide the nation, allowing the election of minority elected Presidents, who then do horrible things to make up for their actual loss. It was placed in the Constitution as part of the grand compromise; that was really a sell out to slavery and genocide. This has nearly ended our Republic many times since.
Every single time this happens these are the outcomes that the majority DID NOT WANT.
1. RB HAYES: ENDED RECONSTRUCTION LEGITIMIZING SEGREGATION AND JIM CROWE FOR OVER A CENTURY.
2. GEORGE BUSH: ELECTED WITHOUT A MAJORITY LEAVING AN OPENING IN OUR NATIONAL DEFENSE THAT LED DIRECTLY TO 9–11 AND THE DISASTROUS IRAQ WAR.
3. DONALD TRUMP: ELECTED WITHOUT A MAJORITY IN 2016. TRUMP WENT ON, WITH MCCONNELL’S ASSISTANCE TO BUILD A RIGHT WING SUPREME COURT THAT WILL PLAGUE THE COUNTRY FOR DECADES, SIMILAR TO THE DAMAGE R.B. HAYES CAUSES. Women will die in back alley abortions by the thousands.
4. 2024 ELECTION: FASCISM IS SPREADING THROUGHOUT THE MAGA WORLD, WHICH LED TO 30% OF THE COUNTRY USING TRUMP’S BIG LIE THAT HIS FAILURE TO WIN WAS A “STEAL” AND PULLING OUT R.B. HAYES PRECEDENT THAT ALLOWING BACK DOOR CHEATS THAT CAN ELECT A LOSER BOTH IN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE AND THE POPULAR VOTE.
This is the blunt horrible truth that the electoral college was intended to do…in a deal with the devil of slavery in 1789.
And if we can’t make the Presidential election all popular and throwing away the electoral college, our democracy is done: we will revert to 1876 to 1932…which included Native People genocide, the unregulated industrial Revolution which is destroying the climate as we speak, and lose our democracy forever…Minority rule is fascist rule, and that is exactly what the Republican Party is planning!
