The racial wealth gap hasn’t significantly narrowed since 1983, the year it started being consistently tracked, despite hopes that it would shrink as discriminatory laws were repealed and Black Americans made gains in income, education, and other areas. Too often, Hamilton says, Black people have been blamed for this lack of progress. But the gap can’t be closed solely with hard work, better education, and saving more. Fed data for 2019 show that the median Black household with at least one college graduate had less than half the wealth of the median White household where the highest level of education is a high school diploma. And several studies suggest that Black people save more as a percentage of their incomes than White people do….”.

I would believe that Native Americans and other people of color….are in worse shape…

THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY!

So we are slowly …painfully, making progress to dismantle this racist injustice…and yes Radical Race Theory is very much part of the. paragraph above. We know it is making an impact when we see the white privileged reaction…

As we edge toward Christmas we need to take stock of what we can all do to fulfill America’s promise!…’ALL MEN (WOMEN) ARE CREATED EQUAL!’

The reaction of the major political parties of the United States is a reflection of the information quoted above…This will as usual not be easy to accomplish….

The Republican Party has inherited the Southern Democrats’ position (sometimes the same people) and plutocrats who are now becoming even more desperate to hold on to their white privilege.

Trump’s Presidency is a perfect example of white rich people who are panicking because of the paragraph above…in short, they will not give up their UNEARNED SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION…

This is sad, since there is room for both. Once lower middle class whites are rallying around racists (call it the Plantation Economy) while the rest of us white liberal white folks are slowly coming around….

IT is education that can bride the gap …and this applies to the Reagan Conservatives who in the 1970s undercut the “advances” that African Americans and other economic groups had made due to the protests of the 1960s…

A backlash was led by Nixon then Reagan that declared a war on poverty and then predictably BLAMED THE VICIMS!

Meanwhile the Democratic Party was very quiet about becoming the party of inclusion. The “southern strategy took the rich aristocrats of the Republican party into out and out prejudice….AND RACISM WITH FASCISM AS THE THREAT….

Modern Democrats: Witness the Vice President, the Senators. the Representatives and the SCOTUS….And it just isn’t the African Americans, slowly and painfully the Democratic Party of United States is moving toward a land of opportunity not just for white people but for all….

This is not without conflict; witness January 6, Trump and. McConnell…

And this time the battle may once again almost resolve into an insurrection…That is exactly what Trump planned.

But he failed and hopefully will not be allowed to ever run for office again…

WE ARE AT A PIVOT POINT!!!!

The future of the United States is once again dependent on ALL OF US!

AS WE SWING INTO THE NEW YEAR, AND THE CELEBRATION OF CHRIST, WE MUST REMEMBER WHO WE ARE TOGETHER…IF EVERYONE IS NOT FREE AND IS NOT JUST DIVERSE BUT INCLUDED…NOBODY IS FREE unless EVERYBODY IS FREE!

AS WE SWING INTO A NEW YEAR…WE SHOULD PRAY AND DO SOMETHING POSITIVE TO INCLUDE EVERYONE IN OUR COUNTRY…FAIR AND SQUARE….

AND THIS TIME THERE CAN BE NO RETREAT!
