The more dangerous truth is that a not-insignificant portion of the GOP’s Trumpian base actually appears to believe that the violent mob was justified in its effort to disrupt Congress as it conducted its pro forma tally of the electoral votes that made Joe Biden the 46th president.”….Washington Post.

And so it goes, the Republican Party covering up an attack on Congress.

And the most concerning to this is that it was most certainly an effort to appeal to the demographic that led the insurrection.

This is inexcusable.

And the irony! Dick Nixon’s party is now the party of right wing insurrection.

Here we have a political party that espouses law n order taking a position that is pro insurrection and anti support for local Washington police.

So Republicans do what they always do, they lie and coverup.

There is absolutely no concern for the public, for legal process; in fact the denial of the election, still championed by the fascist in chief (and in exile) is profound!

We are looking for more of the same, as it dawns of people that there no real consequences for people who flat break the law and attack Constitutional Law.

The Supreme Court typically sits on its conservative butt and refuses to intervene.

This leaves the issue in the hands of those who perpetrated the crime: it is like buying a getaway car for the bank robber!

It is lawlessness times twelve. But the chicken shit Republicans refuse to arouse their“base”…

There is nothing right about this. NOTHING!

And finally it is the base of a fascism that is scheming to take over the country…And THAT is why the Republicans don’t want an investigation!
