Follow the above…The Sacramento Bee has “discovered that a rapidly aging population is an issue.

Have they forgot the Baby Boom? This boom in children was the work of GIs coming back from WW II…

It started in 1945 and continued to 1960…

When the GIs came home…and went back to work, they made babies as fast as you can count.

These were the Baby Booms…

  1. Education was inundated from 1950 to 1970! Colleges were created at a rapid pace.
  2. The 1950s saw elementary school bursting at the seams.
  3. Little Leagues sprung up all over the place.
  4. Junior High School were built at breathtaking speed. High schools sprung up all over the place…
  5. Colleges exploded….
  6. The Vietnam War was stopped because college aged Baby Boomers nearly caused a civil war.
  7. Governments were even pushed into dropping the voting age from 21 to 18.
  8. The Baby Boomers tended to be a bit selfish, since they had been raised a precious gifts…vis a vis the horrors of war.
  9. I was part of this…I remember being held by my bother and telling us that THE WAR WAS OVER ALL IS WELL.
  10. And finally many boomers became spoiled brats: witness Trump!

Now the boomers are in their 70s, and 60s…And guess what…for over 50 years the boomers have received federal and state support at a record pace.

Trump being elected was no accident…it was a baby boomer spoiled brat (I know I am one)…who lied and cheated (another baby boomer tendency)…

So we are now upset because of cuts in state and federal government because social security is aimed right at the boomers…and they have enormous impact.

Oh, Senior Living Facilities have exploded in size….as once again the Baby Boomers are in charge of public policy…

It is not surprise that Biden and Trump, both who were too old to be President…were elected….yep again Baby Boomers (actually Biden was a little older but benefited from the boomers)…

I hate to admit it, but being a Boomer, I tend to be a bit spoiled.

As I enter old age, my peers are pushing hospitals to the breaking point.

Hmmmm…the Baby Boomers strike again!!

I am #42 in the Picture…and the rest are Baby Boomers at Stanford…yep..baby boomers strike again!
