“This week PolitiFact.org announced its “Lie of the Year” and boy it is a doozy. If you blinked during the campaign, you might have missed it. Donald Trump and J.D. Vance alleged that Haitian immigrants in Ohio were eating their neighbors’ dogs and cats. The controversy lasted about a hot minute and then the Trump campaign was on to its next inconsequential fabrication.

Because really there is no contest for “Lie of the Year” by any sane standard. You remember the real lie of the year, right?

The assertion that Joe Biden is as sharp as a tack.

“Anyone who would think that they’re at some advantage because of (Biden’s) age thinks that at their peril, because he’s very sharp,” said Nancy Pelosi, before also saying that she had worked with the president for a very long time and that Biden was “on the ball.” Sacramento Bee….

And Biden will go to the grave with that on his back. He should have retired from the very beginning of the election. That’s right he needed to retire after his term was up…

Everyone knew that he was acting like a man in his eighties.

I have talked about Baby Booners before. I am one. As I edge toward 80, my short term memory…say all my memory…is not what I had 20 years ago.

I also had a hematoma which is cured…but my brain was damaged…

After that, and my age…running for ANY public purpose would be wrong.

But Baby Boomers, Trump and Biden are the beginning of the Baby Boom, refuse to admit their age.

The Baby Boomers were treated like Kings and Queens from their births up…Their parents were parents of the Greatest Generation who won a war against Fascism and whose bravery was well known. But they aged as well.

The fact of the matter is running for President should be the venue of 21 to 60 period. An amendment to the Constitution would be nice.

Trump is border line Alzheimer’s. His cognitive abilities are shot.

But like Biden he denied….and denies.

Look, the Baby Boomers need to release their strangle hold on society and go to the “homes”…in time.

I am one…and I sure as hell won’t be going for even dog catcher!

Yes Biden cost the Democrats the Presidency…and so now we inherit the wing!
