“As of February 22, 2025, Stanford’s men’s basketball team holds a conference record of 8–7 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), placing them seventh in the standings. Their overall season record stands at 16–10.

The team experienced a strong performance in January, achieving a four-game winning streak and climbing to fifth place in the conference. However, February has been challenging, with the Cardinal losing four of their last five games, including a recent 79–73 defeat to Wake Forest.

In women’s basketball, Stanford currently has a 6–9 conference record, positioning them tenth in the ACC standings. Their overall record is 14–12. The team is striving to improve its performance to secure a spot in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

In football, Stanford concluded the season with a 3–9 overall record, placing them 16th in the ACC.

Overall, Stanford’s inaugural year in the ACC has presented challenges across multiple sports, with teams working diligently to enhance their standings and performance. AI…

Even AI knows, I got this from it…what is the problem with ACC…It is sucking the athletics from Cal and Stanford.” AI

I am very angry about this…I played at Stanford in the good ole days..we were building to two Rose Bowls a could have years after I graduated.

I played for the PAC 8..it grew over the days to PAC 12 .

Then for the lies that ACC used to lure Cal and Stanford to leave the PAC 12 and the larceny of UCLA and USC to start the rush to leave the PAC 12…left the west coast with a mess….

What is left of the PAC, Oregon State and Washington State are working hard to get Cal and Stanford back (almost impossible), add schools like CSU Sacramento, San Jose State, San Diego, Arizona and Arizona State etc.

It will take time..meanwhile the people of the Pacific, are faced with the end of D1 sports for all…ending over a century of Pacific D1 sports…

Remember this is ALL Sports…

What has happened is one of the worst things for Scholar Athletics in my memory…

I am sickened by this…
